Conversion Charts

I will provide 2 handy conversion tables which everybody can use to calculate the precise amounts of all liquid ingredients and most commonly used dry ingredients between U.S. Standard system and the Metric system we use in the Netherlands.

Conversion table: Liquid ingredients

Liquids can be converted with the following table. Ingredients like salt, herbs, spices, baking powder, baking soda etc. can be converted with this table. But do not use this table to convert other non-liquid ingredients!

you can round the conversions off as follows:

2 cups = 500 ml
4 cups = 1000 ml

Conversion table: Non-Liquid (Dry) ingredients

All non-liquid ingredients and honey & syrups can be converted with the following table. Make sure you search for your ingredient because the weight differs!
